Dr. Jordan Webber



Dr. Jordan Webber is a Cardiologist who joined the Interior Health Division of Cardiac Sciences in 2018, as Director of the Coronary Care Unit. Originally from Calgary, he received his Bachelor of Science with Honours from Trinity Western University, then his MD from the University of Calgary. He then travelled to Halifax, NS where he completed residency training at Dalhousie University in Internal Medicine, followed by Cardiology.

He served as Co-Chief Resident in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology residency programs. His research at Dalhousie included medical education and population-level cardiac outcomes, and he helped develop educational and simulation training programs. After finishing residency training, Dr. Webber went on to complete a clinical fellowship in Cardiac Critical Care at the University of Alberta and Mazankowski Heart Institute in Edmonton, AB. While there he participated in research including quality outcomes, early mobilization in critical care, and mechanical ventilation weaning. Since starting in Kelowna, he practices inpatient and outpatient ambulatory cardiology, cardiac diagnostics and imaging, leadership in the Coronary Care Unit, and is participating in research and medical education.

His interests include cardiac critical care, ECMO/ECPR, quality outcomes, and medical education. Outside of work, Dr. Webber enjoys snowboarding, skiing, biking, hiking, travel and culinary pursuits with his family.
